Three days of music, technology and shared enthusiasm made the Hong Kong High-End Audio Visual Show 2026 an unforgettable experience for Sphinx Audio Engineering.
Throughout the exhibition, Room S424 became a meeting place for audiophiles, music lovers, distributors, dealers and members of the audio community eager to discover the Sphinx Element Series. Together with our exclusive distributor Richcoln Home Entertainment Centre, we welcomed a continuous flow of visitors for demonstrations, conversations and extended listening sessions.
A strong response to the Element Series
At the centre of the Sphinx presentation was the Element 5, demonstrated as part of the complete Siltech Group reference system alongside technologies from Siltech, Crystal Cable and HMS Elektronik.
From the opening day onwards, the response was remarkable. Room S424 regularly filled with visitors who stayed to explore different recordings and musical genres while discovering the design philosophy, acoustic engineering and technologies behind the Element Series.
The strong engagement went far beyond the listening sessions themselves. Throughout all three days, visitors shared questions, impressions and feedback with our team, creating exactly the kind of exchange that makes an international audio show so valuable.
Three days of dedicated listening sessions
A special part of this year’s show was a series of presentations hosted by members of the AudioTechnique team, each approaching the Sphinx system and the music from a different perspective.
On the opening day, Lincoln Cheng demonstrated the dynamic capabilities of the Sphinx loudspeakers using mastered and unmastered Chinese recordings. The session provided visitors with an opportunity to hear how differences within the recordings were reproduced by the system while preserving their musical character and emotional expression.
On Day 2, Paul Leung continued with a carefully selected collection of Chinese music, album releases and different musical genres. His presentation explored the versatility of the Element 5 and its ability to reproduce recordings with different characteristics, scale and dynamics.
For the final presentation of the show, Joey Ho guided visitors through another diverse musical selection. From Chinese recordings to different genres and album releases, the session demonstrated how the Element 5 adapts to the individual character of the music while maintaining clarity, control and musical expression.
Element 3 in a different setting
The Sphinx experience extended beyond Room S424. Elsewhere at the show, visitors could also discover the Element 3 in a separate system together with Wattson Audio.
This provided another perspective on the Element Series and demonstrated how the Element 3 can become part of a distinctly different high-end audio system while retaining the design and engineering principles that define Sphinx Audio Engineering.

What began with a packed opening day continued throughout the entire weekend. Even after a quieter start on the final morning, Room S424 quickly filled again as visitors returned for one last opportunity to experience the Element 5 and the complete reference system.
