The Sphinx Element 3 has been awarded Winner in the category Consumer Electronics / Audio: Connected Speakers at the European Product Design Award 2025. This recognition highlights the Element 3 as a loudspeaker where sculptural design and advanced audio engineering come together seamlessly.

Developed under the relaunch of Sphinx Audio Engineering, the Element 3 stands out for its harp-inspired form and its uncompromising approach to performance. The jury recognised the loudspeaker as “the perfect example of a design that performs” a balance of visual identity and sonic excellence.

Design That Serves Sound
At the heart of the Element 3 is a resonance-free synthetic stone enclosure, engineered to minimise unwanted vibration and colouration. This sculptural cabinet works in harmony with Sphinx’s proprietary Zero Gravity™ Bass Architecture, delivering clean, controlled low-frequency performance with excellent room integration.

Further innovation comes from the PAC™ Hybrid Crossover Network, ensuring seamless integration between drivers, while hand-wired silver-gold conductors preserve timing, transparency, and musical flow. Details such as dampened cabinet panels, a curved aluminium base, and a rear-panel bass adjustment underline the Element 3’s system-based design philosophy.

A Collective Achievement
The award recognises the work of the team. The Element 3 was led by designers Marko & Kyan, with contributions from the design team consisting of Edwin Rynveld, Viktor de Leeuw, Kingson Zhou, and Marinko Juric.

We are honoured that the Element 3 has been recognised by the European Product Design Award, and we thank the jury for acknowledging a loudspeaker where design and performance are inseparable.
