A Remarkable First Edition

HIGH END Vienna 2026 marked the beginning of a new chapter for one of the world’s most important high-end audio exhibitions. Following its move from Munich to the Austria Center Vienna (ACV), the event brought together manufacturers, distributors, dealers, members of the press and music enthusiasts from around the world for four days dedicated to exceptional sound and innovation.

For Sphinx Audio Engineering, the exhibition provided the opportunity to present the complete Element Series to an international audience. Throughout the show, visitors experienced how sculptural design, acoustic engineering and musical realism come together in the award-winning Element 3 and flagship Element 5 loudspeakers.

Four Days of Listening and Discovery

From the opening Trade Visitor Day through to the final public sessions, Room 2.15 on Level 2 welcomed a continuous flow of visitors eager to discover the Element Series. Distributors, dealers, journalists, audiophiles and music lovers spent time exploring the technologies, design philosophy and performance behind Sphinx Audio Engineering.

Particular attention was drawn to the flagship Element 5. Many visitors returned for multiple listening sessions, allowing them to further experience the loudspeaker’s combination of advanced engineering, distinctive design and effortless musical presentation.

Throughout the exhibition, live demonstrations by Senior R&D Engineer Acoustics Marko Licanin provided deeper insight into the development of the Element Series, sparking engaging conversations about loudspeaker design, acoustic modelling and the technologies that define Sphinx.

A Memorable Moment with Lyn Stanley

One of the highlights of the exhibition was welcoming acclaimed jazz vocalist and recording artist Lyn Stanley to the listening room.

With her own recordings playing through a complete reference system featuring the Sphinx Element 5 alongside products from Siltech, Crystal Cable and HMS Elektronik, the session quickly became one of the most memorable moments of the show.
Watching an artist reconnect with the emotion, detail and atmosphere captured in her own recordings reminded everyone present why great audio reproduction matters.

International Recognition

The exhibition also attracted significant international media attention. Among the visitors was U-Audio, one of Asia’s most respected high-end audio publications, which featured the Sphinx Element Series in its extensive HIGH END Vienna coverage.

Their report highlighted the distinctive combination of sculptural aesthetics and advanced acoustic engineering that defines the Element Series, helping introduce Sphinx Audio Engineering to an even wider international audience.

We would like to thank all partners, distributors, dealers, members of the press and visitors who took the time to visit our room during the exhibition. Your support, feedback and passion for music made this first edition of HIGH END Vienna a tremendous success.
